Lochanbar - Bunya Mountains Accommodation
3 Bedroom single story holiday home only footsteps away from the Bunya Mountains National Park sleeps 6 people in comfort and has plenty of room to spread out.
Lochanbar is completely self contained & included fresh sheets & pillow cases. Towels are available from the Accomodation office for a small fee or you can bring your own.
Venture inside from the front door of Lochanbar and you’ll see high polished wood ceiling’s over an open plan lounge dining & kitchen area complete with breakfast bar and all the comforts of home.

Cozy up on those cool nights on one of the 2 double seaters with your
very own wood fireplace in the spacious lounge. Or perhaps fall asleep
in the classic recliner. |

You’ll also discover a 42 inch LCD TV with DVD player & digital set top
box so feel free to bring some DVD’s up to watch if you like (we need to update the picture) . You'll
also notice that the coffee table doubles as a games table &
stocked with games. |

The kitchen contains a microwave, fridge, freezer, stove, oven &
plenty of storage & preparation space. For your convenience we’ve
included mugs, glasses, plates, cutlery and several different size pots
and pans so there's no need to bring any of that stuff from home. The
dining room table seat’s 6 comfortably for dinner. There's usually
some candles handy for those romantics amongst us. The rooms are warm
and homely with extra blankets available in the cupboard for those
cooler nights.
The only things you need to bring is: your own food,
drinks & linen (sheets, towels, pillowcases) or simply hire them
from the accommodation centre for a small fee.

I strongly suggest you take advantage
of the BBQ on the back verandah at lochanbar (your only 6 ft away from
the rainforest) sipping a wine, or having a beer while watching our
resident possum watch you watch him feed. If you’re not up to cooking
visit the teahouse for local homemade jams and scones or take in some
fine dining at the the local restaurant. |

The master bedroom with floor to ceiling windows is furnished with a
queen-size bed & bed side tables complete with touch lamps. The
master bedroom also features large built-in cupboards to your stuff
away. |
|
|
You’ll discover a double bed with bed side tables and touch lamps on each side in the second bedroom. |

|
Lochanbar’s 3rd bedroom houses a caspar divan (a single bed with
another single bed that rolls out from underneath above floor level) perfect for the kids!

|
Pick your pleasure: rainforest by day or rainforest by night, guided
tours are available either way or venture out on your own on one the
many signed walking tracks. These tracks are ranged for all levels of
fitness from the very fit! to the newly aventerous couch potato.
How about a draft horse drawn buggy ride around the mountain or for the more active a quick game of tennis at the hired courts?
